Writing an about page is a little weird. Do you make it third person? It sounds a little weird to me if you do. You know that I’m the one writing the text, so why would I refer to myself as “Eric Kaiser”. I’m a pretty informal guy, so let’s go first person here.

I’m currently employed at the Sun Journal/Sun Media Group as the Director of New Media Development. It’s a great title I hope I can live up to. Like many newspapers across the country and world we are struggling. I hope that through this blog and other social networking sites we can come up with solutions that work. There are a lot of great blogs out there already, so don’t get your hopes up that mine’s any better.

And don’t expect me to write about work all the time. After all this is my site and I like to think that I have interests beyond work. Which is a nice way of saying that you will have to up with stories and photos about my kids.

Seriously, perhaps you are like me.  You’ve been in the biz for a while and can’t wrap your ahead around all these changes. My hope is I can help you make sense of it all. Heck, you might even help me make sense of it all!
